This sliceria boasts all things authentic Italian from the pizza crust to the gelato. The trans-fat-less za bases on perfectly crisp crust with the perfect amount of density. The water used in the dough is actually imported straight from Italy. I picked up a slab of PV's Roasted Garlic Pizza, and the elements truly married together as opposed to the sloppy efforts you get at some of the more Americanized pizza joints around. The roasted garlic seasoning was truly baked into the cheese, which thankfully didn't pool into an oily, oozey mess. This savory slab was quite filling as a stand-alone, leaving me a bit of room for my Spumoni gelato. The uber-friendly staff was also a delightful complement to my food. Pizzeria Venti is a true value find.
