The window that opens out on to Main Street from Flushing's Corner 28 is a 3 Buck Biter's, paradise with everything from rice rolls to fish ball skewers. My favorite item there is one that's not usually associated with cheap eats: Peking Duck. Sitting inside the window with a sign that says Peking Duck $1 is a woman deftly carving a mahogany-hued Peking Duck with a cleaver. Of course one dollar buys you just a few bites, but, oh, what bites they are. She tucks a few morsels of juicy duck meat and crisp skin into a chun bing and then tops it with scallions and hoisin sauce. It's a little bit of heaven on a rice flour bun.
Mmmmm, the skin looks so crispy.
