When someone tells me something is “pretty big,” I usually order two of them, just to be safe. But my lunch at Diego’s made me question this eating-with-my-eyes tendency: I couldn’t believe the size of these carne asada tacos ($2.55/each) when they came out: the warm corn tortillas, thick meaty steak, and fresh guacamole and pico de gallo filled an entire styrafoam container. We also loved the little salsa bar with fresh limes. It’s open 24 hours and has a drive-thru – perfect for taco cravings at all times of the day.
