Some people are just genius when it comes to naming. Kudos to the guys behind Top Dog, a place that’s been serving up tasty succulent frankfurters to college students in and around Berkeley since 1966. And the hot dogs really live up to its name. It’s the tops. There’s a variety of dogs from the standard all-beef kosher style frankfurter to the “healthier” smoked chicken apple sausage (pictured). All sell for the same reasonable price of three dollars and are served up in a fresh sesame roll.
