If you didn't know this was a schnitzel you'd swear it was a meatball. And in fact the difference is more semantic than ethnic: It's a finely-ground pork meatball, nice and brown and crusty around the edge, as appetizing looking an object as you're likely to find. You can stand in the street and eat it one-handed, like an apple, but I prefer to bring it home in coat pocket, cool it down, and then slice it up and brown it in butter.
