Who can resist the call of crunchy, golden brown mozzarella on equally crisp bread? Throw in a magically nestled fried egg, and you’ve got one blissful piece of doughy goodness. Sultan’s lays on as much baba gahnouj or hummus as you can handle alongside lettuce, tomato and onion to round out this plentiful bite. I opted for the baba, which wasn’t too lemony (hooray!) and provided a pleasing contrast to the hearty egg and cheese bread. Surprisingly and thankfully, the sandwich also lacked a scary grease factor I anticipated. Success!
